Grade Summary: This is the most versatile of the heat treatable aluminium alloys. This alloy offers a wide range of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. It is easily fabricated and has good formability. It is weld-able using all methods including furnace brazing.

Typical Applications: Screw machine parts, Truck bodies and frames, Running boards, Steps, Floors, Walkways, Platforms, Cover plates, Trench covers, Truck runways, Almost any structural component.
