We had a tremendously positive experience working with the Metal Supermarket Team and associated suppliers throughout the Design and fabrication process.

We stopped by the warehouse in Gateshead with a vague notion of what we were looking to achieve – A large metal display to clad an internal chimney breast for our studio space.

Their style of communication is very collaborative – we soon got a sense for what was possible, what would be involved, material/finish, timescales and how much the project was likely to cost.

Certain aspects of the Design could not be done in-house, but these guys were able to outsource to get the job done! They even helped organise a team to come on-site and fit the parts in-situ. Cracking job, especially considering the size and weight of this thing!

We’re impressed with their patience, work ethic and most importantly; the quality of the work.

We look forward to working with you again in the near future.

I had a problem fitting a gas hob to a marble worktop as the cut out was too big for the hob. Solution was to have cut a flat plate of brushed steel cut to size and another hole the right size for the hob cut from that I had nothing but fantastic help from your staff at gateshead and the hob is now in and working perfectly many thanks especially a man called dave who organised everything

The work place is clean safe and professional.
Their prices are super keen and the metal I needed to modify a log holder was cut to size Gaffer taped up and I was super happy.

wide range of materials which is cut to size. As a school site manager, I often only need a small amount of material and do have the facilities to either store or cut large amounts of steel.

The staff at the Gateshead branch were friendly and very accommodating.

I use Metal Supermarkets for the purchase of materials for making model steam boats. I have always found the staff helpful and friendly and have recommended them to other members of my model club.
I usually buy sheet and bar aluminium off cuts most of which are big enough to met my requirements although I also buy brass sections and tube.
The team alley is close to where I live which make for very convenient shopping
